My Happy = all of the following.

Spending time with good friends makes my happiness glow like a bright yellow flower. Especially when they glow as brightly as this lady does.

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Watching others revel in my favourite place as much as I do.

“People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.”

Knowing others who dive completely in to the bucket of whatever makes them happy.

‘What day is it?’ asked Pooh. ‘It’s today,’ squeaked Piglet. ‘My favorite day,’ said Pooh.

Walking barefoot in the same earth that can magically produce such wonders as this.

  1. Excellent as always! the lady looks so pleased with life and of course the dog is ecstatic – I can hear the sounds of his paws in the waves. Being annoyingly happy and optimistic I love every one of the quotes, they are the perfect ‘rules’ to live by 🙂

    1. Thanks Gilly. That lady is a joy, and so was watching that dog on the day. My favourite quote is: ‘What day is it?’ asked Pooh. ‘It’s today,’ squeaked Piglet. ‘My favorite day,’ said Pooh.

  2. Such a poetic post! I especially loved the quotations as well. I am a huge Anne Rice fan and I loved her Mayfair Witches chronicles. 🙂

    1. Thanks !!! I know you will love it. I just finished one of them. I am trying to spread them out and not go nuts. I just finished…wait for it…”Abraham Lincoln – Vampire Hunter” and it was brilliant. I was sure going in it would be a dud. How wrong was I. I couldn’t put it down.

      1. I should get that one. When I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies I thought it would be lame. But I ended up really liking it. It was fun picturing Mr. Darcy killing zombies.

        1. It is so clever how the author works in Lincoln’s wish to abolish the slave trade with vampires – genius. Mr Darcy and zombies…oh I am so gonna have to find that book.
