I was born in the land of Banjo Paterson, gum trees, and weather extremes.
I am a freelance photographer. I love to make images that make people happy. To capture forever a precious moment.
I am also a freelance writer/editor.
I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008.
I am writing my first novel.
I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web.
And there is nothing that is on a par with a sunny summer's day spent at Waihi Beach.

Excellent as always! the lady looks so pleased with life and of course the dog is ecstatic – I can hear the sounds of his paws in the waves. Being annoyingly happy and optimistic I love every one of the quotes, they are the perfect ‘rules’ to live by 🙂
Thanks Gilly. That lady is a joy, and so was watching that dog on the day. My favourite quote is: ‘What day is it?’ asked Pooh. ‘It’s today,’ squeaked Piglet. ‘My favorite day,’ said Pooh.
Thanks Myra. I haven’t read those yet…but I am going to. Her favourite book of mine so far is “The Vampire Lestat.” Oh how I love the book, the plot, the character Lestat. Just love it.
Thanks Amy. Those quotes just touched me. Glad to know that you liked them.
🙂
Yep…that dog is so cool. He was soooooo much fun to watch that day. Really reminded me to feel the joy !!!!! In all that you do.
Thanks !!! I know you will love it. I just finished one of them. I am trying to spread them out and not go nuts. I just finished…wait for it…”Abraham Lincoln – Vampire Hunter” and it was brilliant. I was sure going in it would be a dud. How wrong was I. I couldn’t put it down.
I should get that one. When I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies I thought it would be lame. But I ended up really liking it. It was fun picturing Mr. Darcy killing zombies.
It is so clever how the author works in Lincoln’s wish to abolish the slave trade with vampires – genius. Mr Darcy and zombies…oh I am so gonna have to find that book.
Love the picture of you!!!! So fun and happy! 🙂
