Glad you think so – I’ve visited other blogs without that we in another language and felt frustrated at not being able to translate the writing – just hope it was accurate !!!
It was actually another blogger that put me on to it – dribblingpensioner has such a page and it made so much sense…it is a bit of work to set up, but when I come across a blog that is mostly in another language and has it I love that fact. If you want it for your blog – just ask Harry and I am sure he will provide all the info you need…
I know…lately people have gone a bit ‘like’ crazy instead of taking the time to just say hi or well done. Drives me nuts at times…though when I get behind on blog catchups…I do admit to doing it a bit then myself.

In 7 months of blogging I believe I can count the number of like buttons I’ve pressed on one hand. I will always take the time to comment and compliment if a blog or post inspires me.
Wow…what a great blogger you are. Sometimes I have used it when a blogger has looked at mine and I want to let them know I have visited back…but I don’t really know what to say about a post…is that awful ???
Not really. You’re simply being honest. I follow the lead of a famous philosopher, Thumper, from the movie, “Bambi”, who said, “If you can’t say nothin’ nice, don’t say nothin’ at all”! – π
Hahahahaha…as my favourite bear once said: βDon’t underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering.β
π
I used to frequent over a dozen photographic forums where people tend to be really opinionated and crude. You know the type, they own their first digital camera and quite suddenly they become the “expert”. I still have a graphic of Thumper with his famous quote saved in a “Graphics” folder. After a rude statement was directed my way I’d post the Thumper graphic to end the conversation. Worked every time. I no longer belong to a single forum, preferring the peace & tranquility I’ve found on the blogs.
The only forum I take part in is the one I joined for my 365 day challenge…I tried a couple of others but found that some of the people looked down at the newbies. This one though has been great. They are willing to share ideas, answer questions and they tell you when they like something. I’ve been lucky with blogging…met some amazing people online. The community amazes me.
I don’t believe bloggers are competing for anything. Most just wish to share their world and help others. I know that’s the primary reason I blog. I love my home in the Pacific Northwest and want to share its beauty with everyone.
Thanks for your translate service!

Still, I’ll take one thoughtful comment for a dozen likes. Comments go beyond just pushing a like button. π
