I am a freelance photographer. I love to make images that make people happy. To capture forever a precious moment.
I am also a freelance writer/editor.
I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008.
I am writing my first novel.
I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web.

Charlie. Creepy but oh so cute.
Cemeteries. Very photogenic. ;-). Love the gravestone, gray stone shots. Oooooooooowww!
Thanks, Jo, but I’m nowhere near the storm – I’m in a completely different country in fact! (You are referring to Sandy, right? Unless there’s another storm in the UK that I don’t know about!)
Hope you’ve had a good weekend!
Casper used to be my favourite comic character along with Dot and Little Lotta! And Sad Sack as well! Would love to get my hands on some of those. Cool photos, particularly the one of red eyed Charlie 🙂
😀 The picture of Charlie has me giggling! The sepia-toned cemetery one is REALLY eerie. Good job! I remember Casper, although I wasn’t addicted. When I think of spooky animations from my childhood, there is one that stands out among the rest, and that is Disney’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (mainly because that was always my favorite Halloween story growing up – my Gran used to read it to me many times – the original story by Washington Irving – and I never quite outgrew it!). BUT, there is also a scene from Fantasia, “Night on Bald Mountain”, composed by Modest Mussorgsky. I don’t know if this will show up in your comments, but here is the YouTube clip of it. 🙂
Ohhhhhhh…Sleepy Hollow. I love that story. It’s so…well, everything a good spooky story should be. It showed up [the vid]…I think I am going to have to go get the whole movie on of these days !!!

I loved Caspar and just watched all 13 minutes of it – don’t the voices sound old fashioned?

Hah !!! I knew you’d be the first to watch it all the way through. But don’t those voices take you back to such a simple time ???
