Weekly Photo Challenge: Home

Need I say more….

Part of the Weekly Photo Challenge: Home

  1. Oooh, we’re in the middle of a snowy nor’easter. that is one cold looking bum. We do have similar posteriors on our home island tho’–in August. Happy summer.

    1. Oh I was I had a butt like that.
Mine is a bit droopier than that…no I just admired and shot my little heart out…you should see some of the other photos I took that day.

  2. Ha! Good shot.

Actually, my in laws just moved away from Orewa. We were last there in 2010 – a very nice spot for a swim. We did see the big swim club building, but not all those swimmers. We missed out, eh?

We’ll be visiting them again in June, but the in-laws are in Matamata now. Guess I’ll miss out on them bums again… 😦

    1. It was actally taken at Waihi Beach. I went there to watch a friend’s wife compete against Australia…we won of course. But those Orewa butss were everywhere and I just had to use some of them. Head over this way when you are here – Matamata isn’t that far…and I’ll take you for a walk along the beach and we can imagine it FULL of swimmers..and butts…hehehehehe

  3. oh Jo, you are incorrigibly and hilariously unique!
a very original take on this week’s challenge. nice to know it is warm and sunny at your end 😀
by the way, it’s 6℃ (42.8℉) here. no beach weather here!

    1. I have at times been called hilarious…not sure why.

And unique has been thrown around…I like that !! But this is the first time anyone has said ‘incorrigibly’…so…

I looked up the definition of incorrigibly…

      1. Incapable of being corrected or reformed.
      2. Firmly rooted; ineradicable.
      3. Difficult or impossible to control or manage.

      That’s about right I guess…

OMG…that’s way too cold for this little sun loving Kiwi/Aussie girl.

    1. They were wwearing them as they were competing against Australia…and each team had their country displayed ‘somewhere’…on front might have been a problem for the guys.

  4. Hi & Kia Ora to you Jo,
Thanks for your visit to my blog.
That is a short and sweet way to express the photo theme! Very clever 🙂
My ultimate travel dream is come come to NZ… a trip of a lifetime when you live in Europe!

  5. Am surprised someone hasn’t said, ‘to bad its not tattooed’…..haven’t a clue why I said that. Makes for tongue wagging and drooling and all that.

There are two things I know for certain. One: Bert and Ernie are gay. Two: I want to hear your opinion.
