I was born in the land of Banjo Paterson, gum trees, and weather extremes.
I am a freelance photographer. I love to make images that make people happy. To capture forever a precious moment.
I am also a freelance writer/editor.
I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008.
I am writing my first novel.
I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web.
And there is nothing that is on a par with a sunny summer's day spent at Waihi Beach.

Paradise indeed, it would certainly get me up and out!
WOW! This is like a dream land… So beautiful, I loved your photographs. Light and colours are amazing. Thank you dear Jo, Happy New Year, with my love, nia
Did someone say “Pirate vessel”? 🙂 You did notice that the painter on that Pirate vessel isn’t attached to anything, I hope it didn’t drift away after this photo was taken. Beautiful photos of a beautiful land Jo, thank you very much for sharing!
Beautiful pics, Jo! Wow, I haven’t been fishing in so long, and this made me really want to get out there on the water! Pity you didn’t catch anything (but actually, you DID – you caught some terrific shots!) 🙂
I like the way you look at things. I caught more than that – I caught a sense of serenity – which I was in desperate need of, so it was a grand day !!

Looks good from here. For every hour spent fishing or on the water, is an extra hour one does live -did you know that?
