FYI
The laptop is AGAIN down for the count…which means I am using the dinosaur desktop that takes 10 minutes to load a page.
Why am I telling you this?
Because until further notice I will be struggling to visit anyone…seriously…if I try to get around the WWW with this thing, I may end up in Ward 17 (the local psych ward) from frustration.
Anywho…here is my effort for this week.

Intriguing, it could be London 20 years ago?
20 plus is more like it Gilly.
Ward 34/ 36 in my case, he he he … Welcome to the club, Jo … Don’t worry about a thing, eh? Love, cat.
Thanks Cat…
We’ll be waiting for you if you get stuck out there in cyberlandia.
I am still hanging around…lots of that actually because to make this reply took five minutes…
Your efforts paid off, Jo. Great job. I hope you get back on track soon.
Thanks…it is just frustrating when it takes so long to get things moving…I guess I am spoiled and should just be grateful I still have any sort of computer.
We don’t know how lucky we are, Jo. Some people don’t even have the luxury of electricity.
True…very, very true.
Love you, Jo…and everything you post. We will all be waiting for you when you get back and i know i will be sending you gobs of love in the meantime.
Awwwwww thanks Brynne…it is lovely to know you are out there for me.
always, Jo…always:)
What a comforting thought dear Brynne.
Wow! What a stunning entry! I love it!

Thanks for sharing and hope your problems will be over soon Jo.
*hugs*
So glad you like it…it is one I have been waiting to use for something.
They will be when I can get a new part…just not sure how long that will take…
JO! That is truly stunning!
Thank you Jennifer…I had heaps of fun playing with it to get what I wanted.
Your contribution rocks, Jo!
You are sooooooooo nice Hook !!
Is that the Tower Bridge? NIce photo!
Glad you managed to participate, Jo!
Yep it is the tower. So happy you like it.
I wasn’t letting computer problems keep me out…down and slow maybe but never out…hehehehe
Magical picture,love it
Thanks…it is a favourite of mine and I am so glad to finally have a challenge I could use it in.
Stunning entry for this week’s challenge. Interesting one for sure. Great post.
Thank you…I had fun creating it for sure.
Can’t imagine the amount of work that went into this awesome structure. Thanks for this view. I hope you soon get computer problems resolved.
Especially when it was made way back in the day. It took 8 years, 5 major contractors and the relentless labour of 432 construction workers to build the London Tower Bridge.
Great shot of the tower bridge
Sorry to hear you’re having computer problems Jo. I lost a weeks work when photoshop froze up on me last week so I know how you feel! good luck with the repairs.
Thanks Brenda. Sorry to hear that you lost all that work…that really sucks. I lost a lot of photos once when my hard drive died. My laptop is sadly a lemon that goes from one disaster to another. Now I have to wait to see if I can replace the part cheaply…I refuse to spend $80 on it when it could go again anytime with something new…
That is a great through photo.
Thanks Connie…I liked it.
What a great shot. I love it.
Thank you…what a great comment…hehehe
Super fantastic shot Jo and I love the feeling of colour movement in this, well done!
Hope the laptop brings you back up to speed soon!
I doubt that will happen Patti…it is now a question of waiting to try to get the part cheaper online…oh well…life is full of challenges.
So happy you liked this one !!!
looks classic and hope your laptop is back in action
Thanks Joshi – your opinion means a lot to me. I think it may take a while to get it back and running this time.
I like this one Jo and thank
you for adding it my fine and
wicked friend
I hope that your week has started very nicely…

Silly man…of course I would !!! So send me another and I’ll hope for the best…
I sent you one, two, three…

But guess what you are in
and so bring along a towel
and bathe in the ghoulish
surroundings of wickedness,

On my way…
Whoah! That’s very gigantic nonetheless beautiful of course. I feel like an elf.
It does feel a bit like that when you are under it…hehe
That is a REALLY neat picture. I like the structure, itself, but the sepia tones on it just add to that sense of age. Nicely done! Sorry to hear about your laptop woes.
Did you try Newegg.com? That’s where I go to get my PC parts (usually cheaper, not always, but usually). It might just be cheaper to invest in a brand new laptop. One of the biggest problems with laptops is the internal batteries – they usually have a shelf life of between 1.5 – 3 years, and who knows how long it had been on the shelf before you bought it? Anyway, I hope that you are able to fix it cheaply and soon – we will miss you until then! *hugs*
It is the transformer between the cords this time…totally burnt out. But I know the laptop is in ill health all round so I am loath to spend a lot fixing it…
Looks like a very old pic! But still looks amazing
)
I hope your pc gets better soon coz I will surely be missing your posts ( and comments
Thanks…
I hope so too…it is frustrating because EVERYTHING takes so long to do.
;(
sorry to hear about your laptop – but this post was certainly worth the time it took on your PC! a retro feel to it.
thanks for sharing.
Thank you that is such a lovely comment to make…I really appreciate it.
Great image Jo, it has a very dream sequence feel to it.
Sorry about your ongoing computer problems. I’m with Corina on this, get a replacement, the Internet needs you back, we’re all lonely out here without you.
Wow, that, was, a, really, rambling, sentence.
I am trying…well I know I am trying but you know what I mean.
Love the color effect. The bridge is already beautiful but your artistic hands gave it a sense of mystery and wonder. Just wonderful! Thanks.
What a wonderful comment !! Thank you…I love that you feel that.
