Here are the rules for the “Five Photos Five Stories” challenge: “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge. (Sporadic posting is alright if you’re unable to post each day.)
Once more we go…eeny, meeny, miny, moe…and pick another name out of cyberspace [which you should feel perfectly free to ignore!]…Sue.
I was born in the land of Banjo Paterson, gum trees, and weather extremes.
I am a freelance photographer. I love to make images that make people happy. To capture forever a precious moment.
I am also a freelance writer/editor.
I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008.
I am writing my first novel.
I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web.
And there is nothing that is on a par with a sunny summer's day spent at Waihi Beach.

Thanks PP. I am very lucky to live in a place where I get to wander around and see this. Though Chevvy gets a little crazy that I stop so often to take a photo.
Awwww…I am thinking I need to go for two walks. That said, I’d feel awfully guilty leaving Chev at home for one of them because she loves them so much.
All thanks to you dear lady !! I hope you have a terrific weekend. The weather here is supposed to turn to crap, so I better get up and take Chevvy for her walk.
Our weather was not good all week but turned out sunny today and is set better for the weekend.. so all good… xxx You too enjoy your walks with Chevvy xxx
It is. This place is where I tend to walk Chev everyday. Though perhaps not today. It is raining here, and I do mean raining. Sometimes so loud it wakes Charlie up who is snuggled next to me in bed. I think today might be a lazy day spent snuggling, drinking tea [which a friend gave me and is the most amazing tea], and working on a found poem I have to write for my writers’ group tomorrow.
I love the rain. It gives you a chance to do inside what you normally don’t get the time for, because when it’s nice outside, you don’t want to stay inside – if you know what I mean. 😆
A good snuggle is so good on a rainy day like that. You have a great idea there. Enjoy the rain, the tea and the snuggling and working on the poem. 😀
Beautiful photo. New Zealand, Miss Jo?

Mitch, my new house sit dog, is just the same. I don’t think he is used to stopping so much…

If I had a dog at home I don’t think I could fit in 2 walks, life gets in the way…
