Well I may be late but phew…at least I made it. Marianne’s theme this month is STREET ART. I love it, so here are a couple of my favourites.
Firstly…in my little old Katikati. This brilliant piece lines the beginning of the Haiku Path Walkway. Remember our walk there Marianne ???
In December last year I visited a little town that I had never actually stopped in before. Thanks goodness I did.
Tirau. What a wonderful quirky place.
You can check out the Big Dog Information centre.
Pop in to the Big Sheep Wool Gallery.
Or…you can just wander around with your head tilted upwards at all the wonderful corrugated art that abounds. This town is an artwork capital, even the buildings themselves.
So now for my two blogs.
A friend pointed me in this direction. Ken Rockwell doesn’t technically have a blog, but his photography site has a section that is full of tips for taking better images. I love reading his how to section, so for all my blogging friends who want to keep improving their photography…check him out.
Health Extremist is just the best site. I am trying to live a healthier life, and often find real nuggets of wisdom here to try out for myself.
So there…that is it for me this month. Still working on Marianne’s newest challenge for the month…better get my act together I guess before it is too late. Now off you go to visit my two sites, then don’t forget to click on the cute bunny below and pay Marianne a visit before the month is over.
Just as a side note…is anyone else out there having trouble seeing who actually ‘likes’ their posts. I just get a little black box popping up with no icons. Or is it just me ??
Very, very cool!!!

What an amazing place! Love the artwork, especially the first one, Whoever dreamed that up, must have a great imagination. 🙂
I’m having trouble liking people’s post. Usually have to do it at least twice, and even then, sometimes it disappears. 😦
