      1. Lets hope! I love them too, though I’m allergic, which is perhaps why I would never have been brave enough to attempt a close-up. Having said that, I recently stood close enough to (relatively) gentle Aussi bush bees to distinguish individual insects. 🙂

      1. Already improved – but it’s still FREEZING! (This too shall pass). I’m trying to find the good in it. It’s tough but I think I can pull something out of all this cold to appreciate. 🙂

  10. Do you think they’re attracted to the scent? I wonder. I know they have multifaceted eyes. I wonder about their sense of smell.

    We don’t have much bees anymore in Northern California. It’s getting colder but we still have sunny days. Shorter though. Are your days getting longer?
