Black and White Weekly Photo Challenge : Bridges

Now that I am back I am busy trying to catch up with everyone…and check out all that happened during my absence. Over at Sonel’s Corner there is a weekly black and white photography challenge which sounds like fun. So this week’s theme is…da da da da…

1.  (Engineering / Civil Engineering) a structure that spans and provides a passage over a road, railway, river, or some other obstacle.

IMG_1920This is one of my favourite bridges in Tauranga…and I think the black and white gives it something special.

Author: Jo Bryant

I was born in the land of Banjo Paterson, gum trees, and weather extremes. I am a freelance writer. I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage. I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008. I am writing my first novel. I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web. And there is nothing that is on a par with a sunny summer's day spent at Waihi Beach.

  1. Wow! Gorgeous indeed Jo and you are right. The B&W does give it a special look, especially with the boats on the water. Great entry hon and thanks so much for taking part. Much appreciated. 😀 *big hugs*

    1. Thanks Angelia. A burglary saw my laptops taken and though I had a loaner desktop it was very slow and frustrating to do anything on it. It took two months plus to settle some of the claim so that I could actually get a computer.

    1. I bet you have. Maybe next time you come I might be able to show you around another town. I am in the process of trying to finish the house and sell it so I can move.

There are two things I know for certain. One: Bert and Ernie are gay. Two: I want to hear your opinion.
