I hope you will choose to watch this amazing documentary about how some people are trying to stop the overfishing [often illegal] of tuna in the Pacific. As it is about long line fishing I thought it was appropriate.

Love the lines from the books. And that first photo is fascinating although I have no idea what it is!

The first photo is a screen door that I played around with.

Some great pics, here, Jo! Really neat texture on the first and third ones.
Re: The Dark Tower series, The Gunslinger is only the first one. Then, in order, they are: The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three (1987)
The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands (1991)
The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass (1997)
The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla (2003)
The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah (2004)
The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower (2004)
The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole (2012)
Just in CASE you like the first one enough to keep going. 😉

Is this there going to be a Tuna Wars show? Lovely photos. I’m drawn to the patterns.

Pretty sure there will be at least another episode. Did you watch it ? It was so good I thought. Some day I want to be on THAT ship. Patterns are so cool. The bottom one is a foot crossing at a railway line. I lay down and prayed the bells would not start ringing while I was there taking it.

Yep it is Mr King. As for where I have been…how long have you got ???
1. Fast laptop died [well it’s fast for me though others may consider it a dinosaur on its last legs].
2. Back up [perfectly acceptable mythological creature age type] laptop got the BLUE SCREEN of death. I went in to shock as over 10,000 NEW words of the novel had not been saved to the external hard drive. Due to most computer techs in town being shysters who charge like wounded bulls for 10 minutes the budget meant that I had to figure it out myself. This took a few days…quite a few in fact…due to the shock and the fact that I have had a recurrence of…
3. Shingles [one doctor says yes another no – I’m going with the yes vote. Having had it before it seems likely…and the way I have been feeling lately all points to it].
4. While forever grateful for the desktop that take 10 minutes to load a page it leaves me…well frustrated…so much more than checking e-mails and the occasional facebook visit were beyond my capabilities until I finally fixed laptop number two myself. Yea and yippee…well almost.
5. Laptop working, feeling a bit off I used it in bed. Forgot to tuck the cord away and when it was time for a pitstop in the night I had the crazy idea NOT to disturb the fur babies by turning on the light. That said…I went arse over tit. In trying to miss the oil heater slamming in to my face I twisted my back. Not a good thing when you have nine pins in it.
I could go on about the rest but you wouldn’t believe me…I lived it and I still don’t believe it. Chevvy was quite put out with the disturbance to her snoozing and Jack was rather upset at being flung from the bed as I grabbed the duvet. As they are all back sleeping with me though I think I have been forgiven.
But as Arnie says so eloquently…I’mmmmmmmmmmmmmm bbaaaaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkkkkk…for now at least.
