Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Pets

I’d like you all to meet Muffin. He was adopted by a friend of mine and now, as all cats are prone to do, allows her to wait on him hand and foot.

And my wee cockatiel CRASH is demanding some attention on here.

I couldn’t resist including this one either…Charlie is just too cute !!!!

Over at Cee’s blog you’ll find lots more cuteness to ohhhh and ahhhhhhhh over.

    1. He does look ominous, but is the sweetest kitty. After the Twilight comment i remembered Charlie’s red eyes shot for SPOOKY…and now I look at him a little differently.

    1. He is a ‘pretty boy’, but then I think all my fur babies are stunners. Charlie is so funny…he often sleeps like that. I think it is a type of warning system.
Beware, I bite if disturbed !!!!

        1. Don’t they just. Last night the three of mine all decided they wanted to curl in to me as I tried to sleep…try being the operative word with one laying across my arm, another curled in to the back of my knees and another on the other side.

  1. I really love the hint of Charlie-tooth. And Crash has such a wonderful expression of slightly crazed enthusiasm! As for Muffin, what can I say? He’s clearly a typically altruistic cat, setting aside his own convenience so he can make time to accept the homage of his humans 😉

  2. Muffin is sweet (although he doesn’t necessarily look it in that second shot), Charlie, well, he’s Charlie and I refuse to give him an even bigger ego. I didn’t realize that Crash had SUCH vibrant, beautiful yellow plumage – simply gorgeous, he is. As for names for turtles, you might call one “Pratchett” (after Terry Pratchett and his Discworld series, where the world is carried on the back of a giant, interstellar turtle – who is named A’Tuin, btw, and actually based on a much older Hindu myth) or maybe Ke-ya, which is the Lakota Indian word for turtle. They are considered sacred animals in Native American culture, as well as Asian cultures (Kame is the sacred turtle of longevity in Japan, and Ao, the great sea turtle of China). Probably way more than you ever wanted to know, but there ya have it. 🙂

    1. Crash is pretty. And a little crazy. which means he fits in well here. he hangs by his neck in his rings. The Son calls him the suicidal bird..,hehehe
I shall mention to The Daughter all your names. She is winging her way to Christchurch – probably already there, she had a very early flight – for work today. I think Charlie would give Robert Pattinson a run for his money as a vampire. His sparkles ain’t got nothin on my boy’s stripes and fangs.
