While in Tahiti I discovered the rolling food trucks that are down at the port in Papeete from 6 pm at night. Reasonably priced food. Atmosphere. Entertainment. It is all there.
A night food market that is a delight for ALL the senses…and relatively easy on the wallet !!
And as you ate looking out across the water, the view wasn’t bad either !!!

Rolling food trucks are awesome. Love that second to last shot, with all the steam rising up through the palm trees in the background. Very fun! xxx Ailsa
Got to disagree. There were so many trucks that rolled in and rolled out again…not really a cafe but a food market. Only difference is the food is cooked.
😉
Sounds amazing! I have very few images of food, because that is when my camera gets packed up and I start digging in. Post blog I hope to capture a few more such moments 🙂
It looks like a lovely night out.

That first shot is cool – but disturbing! I guess its best not to consider where our food comes from..

Umm.. That is a street cafe, not market. Nevertheless, it’s a good picture. I want to go there sometime..

I love markets. The food, the sounds, the people. Here’s a photo I shot at the market in Jerusalem of a busy young girl:
