I was born in the land of Banjo Paterson, gum trees, and weather extremes. I am a freelance photographer. I love to make images that make people happy. To capture forever a precious moment. I am also a freelance writer/editor. I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage. I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008. I am writing my first novel. I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web. And there is nothing that is on a par with a sunny summer's day spent at Waihi Beach.

    1. Thanks Gilly…if you saw the before shot of the neon one…well you would maybe think different. It was terrible – couldn’t see a bloody thing except fuzzy things that looked like they might be people…hehehehehe

      Caught a bunch and brought six home…but it was just magic out there…like glass all day long. Fishing makes me feel good. Except one of the fish was a fighter and every muscle I possess is sore right now. Early to bed for me tonight.

  20. Jo, these are amazing captures! Love the editing on the first photo… it reminds me of a cave painting or petroglyph. They’re all beautiful though. Great job!

    1. Thank you – I had a lot of fun creating the first one. The original photo was quite old and not very good, so I was thrilled to still be able to create something people seem to like with it. That sunset was in Tahiti and it really was spectacular.

    Fune is similar to Fine only it is with a ‘u’ and not an ‘i’ of course
    other than that they are incredibly similar 🙂 lol Be good Jo I am
    watching 😉 lol Wow that makes me seem like some kind of Voyeurist
    or something 🙂 lol Actually I am not sure that voyeurist is a real word
    but it certainly should be don’t you think? 🙂
