The laptop is AGAIN down for the count…which means I am using the dinosaur desktop that takes 10 minutes to load a page.
Why am I telling you this?
Because until further notice I will be struggling to visit anyone…seriously…if I try to get around the WWW with this thing, I may end up in Ward 17 (the local psych ward) from frustration.
Anywho…here is my effort for this week.

Thanks…it is just frustrating when it takes so long to get things moving…I guess I am spoiled and should just be grateful I still have any sort of computer.
😉
So glad you like it…it is one I have been waiting to use for something. 🙂
They will be when I can get a new part…just not sure how long that will take…
Especially when it was made way back in the day. It took 8 years, 5 major contractors and the relentless labour of 432 construction workers to build the London Tower Bridge.
Great shot of the tower bridge 🙂
Sorry to hear you’re having computer problems Jo. I lost a weeks work when photoshop froze up on me last week so I know how you feel! good luck with the repairs.
Thanks Brenda. Sorry to hear that you lost all that work…that really sucks. I lost a lot of photos once when my hard drive died. My laptop is sadly a lemon that goes from one disaster to another. Now I have to wait to see if I can replace the part cheaply…I refuse to spend $80 on it when it could go again anytime with something new…
I doubt that will happen Patti…it is now a question of waiting to try to get the part cheaper online…oh well…life is full of challenges.
So happy you liked this one !!!
Well I have been fishing again…all I caught this time was a sense of peace after a drama filled week…but dear Androgoth I have NOT gotten any invites…really my dear man – do you think I would not run on over to see what it was about…hehehe
😉 Silly man…of course I would !!! So send me another and I’ll hope for the best…
🙂
I sent you one, two, three…
But guess what you are in
and so bring along a towel
and bathe in the ghoulish
surroundings of wickedness,
well I only said 🙂 😉 lol
That is a REALLY neat picture. I like the structure, itself, but the sepia tones on it just add to that sense of age. Nicely done! Sorry to hear about your laptop woes. 😦 Did you try Newegg.com? That’s where I go to get my PC parts (usually cheaper, not always, but usually). It might just be cheaper to invest in a brand new laptop. One of the biggest problems with laptops is the internal batteries – they usually have a shelf life of between 1.5 – 3 years, and who knows how long it had been on the shelf before you bought it? Anyway, I hope that you are able to fix it cheaply and soon – we will miss you until then! *hugs*
It is the transformer between the cords this time…totally burnt out. But I know the laptop is in ill health all round so I am loath to spend a lot fixing it…
😦
Great image Jo, it has a very dream sequence feel to it.
Sorry about your ongoing computer problems. I’m with Corina on this, get a replacement, the Internet needs you back, we’re all lonely out here without you. 🙂
Intriguing, it could be London 20 years ago?
