This post began life as a comment I made on a thought provoking piece of writing titled Stratigraphy. I hope you will pop over and read it. Amazing writing should be shared !!!

          1. Okay – went and worked my way back and in Picasa I inverted the photo then boosted the colour.
I tend to play with editing. Somethings work…some don’t. I thought this one did. The original is not a very good shot…taken at night…blurred…these are the types of photos I like to play with to see what I can end up with.

          1. No, I don’t think so. I sometimes comment on political blogs (I can’t keep my mouth shut on some of the issues)elsewhere, and a lot of people think I’m a guy. Maybe it is Mr.Zimp standing there looking down on Jack and the orples in my gravatar. Either way, it doesn’t bother me, so don’t let it bother you either.

  1. Awesome…I sure hope we don’t see anything like that tomorrow morning when the Solar Storm hits…I just posted a quick article about it. Based on AP news brief.

    1. That’s why we clicked on the WorldWideWeb.
I think that at some point we all have felt that way. Not all of us will admit to it though.

  3. Beautiful image Jo! Trying to organize and keep life on the right track can be maddening. It’s sometimes saner to just live and let live. 😉

  4. A very interesting posting Jo…

Actually I have popped my Space onto Private for a while so
you will not be able to gain access for the time being but I will
definitely be calling in here to add my thoughts to your postings…

Of course as soon as my workload decreases I will be putting it
back to open Internet but I just cannot keep up on here at the
moment my fine and wicked friend 🙂

Have a fun rest of day Jo and don’t be too naughty 😉

  5. Okay, I guess I am the odd woman out then, because I found that picture disturbing in the extreme! (the red one). When coupled with your words, it looked like a woman walking in tandem with a shadow-wraith or demon or something. O_o…and then I saw the original in the comments and I was like, “whoa”…because I never would have guessed that was what it was. You DO have a way of pulling out the “creepy” in photos, Jo! I don’t know how you do it, but I like it. And I hope it isn’t just my own twisted mind making them into something they are not meant to be, and please don’t be offended by what I see! I think it’s amazing that you can make these photos into something SO different than what they were originally!

    1. Wow…the things you see. Another seriously disturbed mind I think…yea !! Why would I be offended…as I like to quote Freddie Mercury: “Does it mean this, does it mean that, that’s all anybody wants to know. I’d say what any decent poet would say if anyone dared ask him to analyse his work: if you see it, darling, then it’s there!”
