Mother, animal lover, writer, poet, friend, curious

2) What keeps you up at Night?

Insomnia due to 1 demented fox terrier and a grumpy cat and a me, me, me, hellion cat all sharing my bed. Is there a bigger bed than kingsize ??

3) Who would I like to be?

Me, me, me, me, me !!!

4) What am I wearing right now?

The Egyptian cotton towels I got for Christmas from the kids – I said I was never going to get dressed again didn’t I !!

5) What scares me?

Something bad happening to my kiddywinkles or my animals.

6) The best and worst of blogging.

The people you meet are the best !!! The worst ?? Is there a worst ??

Stop procrastinating.

A slanket – what the hell is a slanket ? Some kind of monster ? Then I’d sic The Boys onto it !!!

Hmmmm – Russell over at Beautiful Photographs tagged me. Our acquaintance is still kind of newish. He has an amazing website full of great photographs, and he is so encouraging – to me at least. I’m looking forward to getting to know him better on here.

  1. Hahahahahahaha you don’t know what a slanket is? You don’t want to! But, it’s a blanket with sleeves that you loll around in on the sofa being a couch potato -so a bit like your posh towels really but with less skin covered. 🙂

    walking around without your towels… Just kidding it
    doesn’t equate to walking around in the Niff… Well it
    could I guess but then if that were true it could get a
    bit too wicked especially on those pegging out days 🙂 😉

  7. Hi Jo and thanks for including me in this post. I’ve decided to take inspiration from The Hook and post my reply here too, I will also do one on my own blogpage – the reason being: you have more followers than me ;-D So here are my ten answers….

    Kind, mother, musician, sexy, joker, unpredictable, emotive

    2. What keeps you up at Night?
    Wondering why the hell am I lying next to such a miserable bugger?

    3. Who would I like to be?
    I quite like being who I already am.

    4. What am I wearing right now?
    Never mind that, I just hope no-one comes to the front door right now….

    5. What scares me?
    Water scares me, I can swim but it still bothers me. Getting lost scares me – that’s a thought though, does it count..?

    6. The best and worst of blogging.
    The best of blogging: the wonderful community that is out there…..The worst of blogging: no-one takes a blind bit of notice when I write and post a 3,000 word masterpiece!

    Slankets? I’m another slanket virgin, who the hell made that word up?! I’ll say yes because I’m getting the impression slankets = comfort and maybe a bit of luxury.

    10. Tell us something about the person who tagged you!
    What do i know about Jo? She’s awesome! I don’t know why I connected initially but the more I’ve got to know her I personally feel we tread a very similar path such as theatre connections and working with children, australia/nz – my ex lives in Perth, Aus, sense of humour…, even the stumps in our street(s) it’s uncanny and also we have some iffy issues with our upbringing/family. I really like Jo and hope one day I get to meet this fabulous woman who is an inspiration to so many people here in blogland.

Snuggies and Slankets and Towels, oh my! lol I like the seven words you chose for yourself, but of course, seven words doesn’t BEGIN to describe how wonderful you are!

    1) Describe yourself in seven words.
    Childish, curious, swashbuckling, happy, humorous, passionate, honorable

    2) What keeps you up at Night?
    My Mind. My body loves to sleep, and takes every opportunity to avail itself in that endeavor. My mind likes to think, ponder, create, wonder and experiment when it really should be sleeping. I think I need to get the two of them separate state rooms on my Pirate ship.

    3) Who would I like to be?
    I know this sounds like self aggrandizement, but I’m happy to be me. My life rocks, I rock. There are a wealth of people I admire past and present. People I would love to have known, spent time with or emulate in some manner. My experiences though, the wonderful, horrible and the mundane created who I am. I think I did a pretty good job on this Pirate building thing.

    4) What am I wearing right now?
    Just two things, shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. It is winter in San Diego after all.

    5) What scares me?
    OK, that’s the second time this week someone has asked me that question. Is the Universe planning something I should know about? Anyone………

    6) The best and worst of blogging.
    The Best: the people. The Worst: finding time to visit and comment on all the blogs I would like to.

    Jo is deviously mischievous, has a sharp wit and an amazing sense of humor. She’s wonderfully passionate about so many things, and has a sense of curiosity that might even match mine, which is more than most people should be allowed to have. She has a weakness though, and you could get her to do pretty much anything (not everything) if you could figure out a way to get TB’s in her house. Just say’n.
