she lies entangled
duvet
cushions
half-closed brown eyes
beg for attention
from across her bent knees
moving pictures flash
out a story –
glass slippers
difficult love
fairytales where a fish and a bird
can love forever –
coffee
fluffy milk
buttery pastries
Sunday morning
in the middle of the week

I was born in the land of Banjo Paterson, gum trees, and weather extremes.
I am a freelance photographer. I love to make images that make people happy. To capture forever a precious moment.
I am also a freelance writer/editor.
I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, but still like to claim my Australian heritage.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Communications in 2008.
I am writing my first novel.
I love to write poetry, short stories, and also write for the web.
And there is nothing that is on a par with a sunny summer's day spent at Waihi Beach.

“Sunday morning in the middle of the week” – every one of us knows what that means, and it’s even more luxurious than those Egyptian cotton towels!
I wish I had a croissant right now…. The power of words!

Sadly there are those that don’t. The Daughter’s best friend is a local vet nurse and she recently rescued five abandoned kittens. They were all flea ridden, full of worms and the cat flu – it makes me so angry I could spit !!!!
