Weekly Photo Challenge: Celebration

In May one of the best place to be is on The Rhine.

The Rhine in Flames is indescribable – and I was lucky enough to watch it all right on the banks of the Rhine River in Boppard, as the boats made their way past.

There is no other word that fits this spectacle quite like CELEBRATION does.

These are some of the photos I took that evening.Β  I had the camera on a tripod with a slow shutter speed – what speed, heck I can’t remember that.

What I do remember – it is a night I will never forget.

And because of a comment I am adding this video to play as you scroll through…

  1. Neat! From what I understand, it’s a real challenge to get good photos of fireworks, so you must be doing something right! Fireworks over water are always doubly impressive, and you got some good pics. πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing them with us.

There are two things I know for certain. One: Bert and Ernie are gay. Two: I want to hear your opinion.
