Weekly Photo Challenge: Up

So this weeks theme is up.

Some of the things I thought of – well – not comfortable posting them here…LOL

For more great photos – visit the Weekly Photo Challenge.

These were taken in Africa.

I have been playing around with them a little so I thought I’d load all of them up.

Maybe get some opinions.

I love the blurriness.

Makes me feel

  1. Loving the textures in the photos, I also like the different feeling the different hues give.!! Beautiful. I would love to see Africa someday!

    1. Thanks Ma’am. I would love to go back. It is my dream to one day go there with the kiddywinkles to see the Gorillas. Maybe give Mt. Kili another go. LOL πŸ™‚

  2. I love how you try on new thoughts and play with a wonder that usually escapes even the ‘happiest’ of adults…you are pure JOY! Do you know that, Jo? And of course you couldn’t post what you were thinking!!:) love you!

    1. Dear Brynne, reading your comments never fails to push me through happiness into sublime joy. Almost as good as reading your blog !!!! But I know that you know what I was thinking – and that’s enough… πŸ™‚

  3. The first one is water, then comes grain fields of earth, the last one is spectral, its my favorite. The blurrs and colors leaves lots to the imagination. up. hahah I made a joke. πŸ˜‰

  4. The photographs are like paintings. I see the same as midaevalmalden — the first water, the second fields of grain. These are my favorites. Gorgeous. And thanks for the ‘like’ on my post.

    1. Thank you for commenting – I liked the spectral quality of your photo a lot. πŸ™‚ I thought the same thing about the painting like quality.

  5. Hi Jo, I love your photos and your blog, I’ve just browsed through your short stories, too, and enjoyed it so much. What an interesting blog! I lived in Australia for 7 years (2001-08) with my familiy – so many images and memories in my mind…. Kind regards from Germany – and thanks for visiting my blog, I appreciate! πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Uta, thank you for stopping by and commenting. Australia is an amzing country – it leaves one with a deep sense of it. πŸ™‚ So glad you enjoyed what you found here. πŸ™‚

    1. I am too. yesterday I was playing with the photos again – that is my thing at the moment and I turned a silhouette of me into this gold/orange – hmmmmmmmm – not sure what it is yet, but I love it. Deciding whether to keep it for another photo challenge, or use it as a prompt for a poem. πŸ™‚
