- I hated school because I moved around so much – I kept having to start over again and again.
- The first boy I fell in love with broke my heart – again and again.
- On my big OE, I arrived in Jo’burg at 1.30 a.m. to find the airport was in the middle of nowhere and closing. I didn’t panic.
- When my boyfriend proposed I thought he was kidding – I never told him that.
- When my Dad died I was so angry at him because I was no-one’s daughter anymore.
- I was so crazy about Queen when I was a teenager I had all their albums. When they came out and I couldn’t get anyone to go with me I went to the concerts alone.
- The day we arrived in Holland and I met my in-laws for the first time I thought they were arguing – Dutch sounds like that when you don’t understand it.
- For a while I went out with a guy who rode a very big bike. We used to go to Kings Cross and I loved talking with all the bikers – they were cool !!
- I went to a Catholic school when I was eight. It started a love affair with the pomp and pageantry of Catholicism that only ended when I realised to become a Nun I had to marry a guy I would only get to meet when I was dead.
- Sitting in a church, particularly a Catholic church still brings with it a sense of calm.
- I have already picked out the guy who should play the main character in my novel.
- He is my desktop and screensaver. When I get stuck writing it – the pictures of him help.
- I used to get all A’s at school. One day my Dad told me he couldn’t afford for me to stay to Year 12, so I stopped caring.
- I agree with my daughter that the guy who plays Puck in Glee is pretty damn hot.
- It wasn’t until I left him that I found out my husband was cheating on me. I whacked him in the balls with a plastic colouring in set the first time I saw him after I found out. It felt really good !!
- Then I tossed his car keys into the long grass. That felt pretty damn good as well.
- There are times when I wish I had displayed better judgement in picking the father for my children.
- I think they do as well sometimes.
- My children amaze me. I am as fascinated now with them as I was the day they were born. They are so interesting.
- One night my daughter told me that they knew there was nothing they could do that would stop me loving them – and that’s why they come to me when trouble strikes. It was the moment I was most proud of myself. It still is.
I have just sort of stumbled on this page and what an amazing posting with so many things about your personal life, I am very surprised that you have added these but then again I guess it is something to be able to reflect upon at a later juncture, I rather like what you did with your husbands keys, though I think that they would have been down a drain or something, perhaps even with him following them if you had thought about that scenario beforehand…
Actually I am just pondering who is on your screensaver, it’s not Mel Gibson is it, or that Johnny Depp character? Well I’m not even going to guess any further or my comment will quickly turn into one of those ghoulishly lengthy epics and you don’t want one of those on your Space I am sure
lol
Right I will sign off now and wish you a most wonderful
Have a funtastic evening now, I always do
Thursday my friend

Hello friend – no it is not Mel or Johnny – both fine specimens, but not exactly right for the role.
I’ll tell you a secret – a very poorly kept secret…
It’s this guy…

I want to invite you into the Ligo Circle of Appreciation. This is not your typical award type page, but you’ll just have to visit my page and see for yourself. http://wp.me/p2jC53-IB
Thank you. Twice in one day – I feel special. I will pop over after the weekend. Got the kiddywinkles home and won’t be on here that much til they head off.
You are popular! Have a great week-end.
Thanks – will do as the kids are home.
