Somehow it’s kids that make summer seem like our memories of summer! That’s a gorgeous shot – so simple, almost monotone except for the children. Great choice:)
Thanks !!! I like that you noticed those things.
Sorry that i can’t leave a comment on your blog…it has been that way for a while now with Blogger.
Grrrrrrrrrrr
Makes me want to go get a little sand in my drawers, myself. It’s been a couple of years since I went to the beach … and your beaches are beautiful! Those kids look like they are enjoying their time in the sand.
This picture evokes so many summer memories – of being at the beach when I was a child, and other times of being with my children at the beach. It’s a beautiful photo, Jo, and perfect for the theme.
Really neat picture, Jo. Makes me want to get to the beach. It’s hard to imagine that your summer is ending/over and ours is just barely getting started!
As I got up this morning to a white frosty lawn and my fingers wrapped around the cup holding my morning tea for warmth while I waited for the fire to take off again I knew that our winter has taken hold. Still – the sky is clear and blue…so not all bad I would say !!!

Wonderful… Brings back childhood memories… Oddly, as an adult, I stopped enjoying the beach because of all that sand… how silly of me.
Very silly. My ex was like that. Hated sand. Hmmmmm…maybe that was what went wrong. LOL
