This is my baby Charlie.
He may look innocent but is in reality a part Siamese terrorist.
And this is a one-in-a-million shot of Charlie having a peaceful moment – there aren’t many in our house since he moved in…

Thank you!
Haha, I like this “He may look innocent but is in reality a part Siamese terrorist.”, .
He is far from innocent – seriously diabolical is closer to the right description…but he is cute !!!
Agreeably he is cute and this shot is one in a million indeed…
Just after I took it I got the evil eye…stop now before I attack look…
haha
Seriously – I am waiting for a DANGER prompt and up a photo is going of that DON’T MESS WITH ME look.
diabolical indeed Jo. glad you were able to capture this one of the rarest moments…
Me too !! he is very special, and for all his hellcat ways he has wormed his way DEEP inside my heart.
Amazing shot!!! and Thank you for visiting my blog
You have a great blog Sophie – I shall be back for more. So happy you liked this one !!
We have three cats. They are ever so peaceful After they’ve been fed but, oh, before! Love this close-up.
Charlie doesn’t understand that word at all – glad you liked it !!!
Hi Jo,
I used to have a part siamese – but I don’t remember “peaceful” being one of the descriptors for her….:-)
I don’t think Siamese and peaceful can exist in the same room…hehe
Nice detail!
Thank you !!
Jo,
Thank you for your kind comments on my photo, “Peace.” I enjoyed your contribution! Your cat looks like a hellion even in this restful pose. I love the name of where you live. “Bay of Plenty” sounds so romantic, like a great movie should be shot there,
~Anne
Hi Anne – it is a wonderful shot !!! Love that word ‘hellion’ and it describes him exactly. Bay of Plenty – hmmmmmm – you might be right about that for a movie…
so sweet
Oh no – anything but sweet is my boy !!!
I love the texture and the rich feel of this photo! Fantastic.
Thank you Jennifer…
Furry
He is surprisingly so up close…hehe
Charlie looks so peaceful! Great close up!
Theresa he isn’t really peaceful even asleep…so glad you liked the shot !!!
Thank you for Pingback Jo your post create a thousand explanation
it was a great shot and I imagine if this is a tiger and if i`m watching him closely like that ..
maybe i`ll be peaceful forever lol
He doesn’t need to be a tiger to be dangerous Jake…hehehe
Great shot and tnx for pingback!
Thanks Britten – you are very welcome…
what a great close-up. love the texture of the fur.
and an enjoyable story, too! thanks for sharing.
Love it that you think so…
I don’t believe a word of it – he looks very peaceful
He’s plotting under that paw – ready to strike at a moment’s notice…
I think you need to watch out for the Clor of Justis … http://www.mentalpills.com/2011/12/claws-of-justice.html
Hahaha…that was funny. With Charlie it is the teeth of justice !! The paws reach out and grab while the teeth sink in like a hot knife through butter. My other cat Jack is the Clawinator one – she swats from her perch on the ironing board where I put her food to keep it out of reach from the always underfed Demented Fox Terrier…
What a cutesy wutesy ickle nose! Really sharp shot Jo, I think this is my favourite this week.
Oh my thank you Gilly !!!
But don’t be fooled – that cutesy wutesy ickle nose hides a hellcat…
Great capture! I love the detail!
Thank you for saying that !!!
He must be very beautiful! I am a catlover myself!
He is a very beautiful cat to look at, and everyone loves him because he has character and knows how to play to his audience…
Awww… he looks too adorable to be a kitty terrorist! This shot totally made me smile today
So glad it made you smile.
He is clever my wee boy – just when you REALLY want to murder him he turns on the charm…
We have a 13 pound monster cat (and he isn’t even overweight) that is almost always the picture of peace – too big and lazy to be anything but!
My black one is like that – though it appears she is peaceful I think under that gaze she may well be plotting too !!!
nice close up.
Thank you !!!
love the capture! great shot, funny post….
Thanks Marina.
I like all the texture you caught in this shot, and also the transitory nature of peace, and how it seems it can be shattered in an instant.
Thank you Ruth – I really appreciate your comment here.
That clearly is a tiger!
He certainly has a tiger’s soul…
Very nice photo, Jo!
Thanks Tom – so glad you liked it !!
Gosh, such detail in this photo.
Yes I took my life in my hands getting up that close ’cause you never know when he will strike !!
Beautiful photo
Love it!
~Massie
Thank you very much Massie.
I discovered your site because you replied to mine – I am really enjoying making my way through your blog! Thanks!
Hi Cathy – great to see you here and to hear you are enjoying the visit.
Haha. He must have been in the zone for you to take a photo like that!
I got a steely glare after the click…you know the one.
You sure he wasn’t raised on a Pirate ship? Seems the type.
I am sort of glad he wasn’t – he is enough of a rogue without adding pirate to the mix…hehe
The focus and clarity in this photo is absolutely amazing! look forward to seeing more of your photos, Jo.
Thank you for that wonderful comment.
Intense and cute : )
He is BOTH of those…haha !!
Glad you caught baby Charlie on his peaceful day…looks like he’s housing serious damage fangs in that mouth of his! Haha!
Oh he has razor sharp teeth hidden inside that mouth.
I wonder if I can ever touch his nose. Cute entry, Jo!
Not something that he is ever so keen on…
Excellent answer to the challenge – and then some!
So glad you liked it Hook – he’s my baby !!!
I love your photo. Your Charlie should meet my Jack…haha…then there will be no peace indeed!
@))–>>——-
My Peaceful photo is at my site, you are graciously invited to view it, too. http://wp.me/p273Pg-2t
I think there are quite a few hellcats out there that my Charlie should never come in to contact with…hehe
What a peaceful moment, he’s such a sweetie!
that is one word for him – maybe…hehehe
I like that Siamese Terrorist. One of my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels is a real cutie, butter wouldn’t melt etc. but show the dog a cat, and there’s a fair few live around here, he’s gone. Snapping, snarling, bundle of aggression….
Oh better keep Charlie where he is then – already had one episode of shredded nails escaping a mad neighbours dog…and yes I meant that the way it was written…hehe
Superb picture!!!
It’s absolutly excellent
Here is my set : http://jibsphotography.wordpress.com/2012/01/16/weeklyu-photo-challenge-peaceful/
Hope you’ll like!
Thank you so much !! I love that you like it so much.
oh no!
look at the details!!!
I did get in close – a bit of a dangerous move…hehe
Oh my .. I believe you will need armour protection if
he sees that he has been exposed here. I know cute
and hellion don’t go together but in this case he fits it
well. Such a face – only a mother can love.
Very nice, Jo ….
Izzy
Thanks Izzy – he certainly is a character…funny though everyone else loves him. My boy knows how to play to a crowd.
I love Charlie! Thanks for the share
That’s half the problem…EVERYONE loves Charlie, and he knows it !!!
My goodness! What an adorably peaceful face. Yes, I know what you mean about cats and those rare peaceful moments. Charlie is a keeper!
Oh he is a keeper – he is my BABY !!!!!!
