Our yearly breakfast ritual.

Just had to add this.
For my 51st birthday a friend took me to Tahiti and this was what greeted us every morning.

The BEST kind of breakfast right there. Only to be a child and have no cares again…
I agree totally.

Sure is – especially when it’s chocolate…
I totally agree and the iron in choccy makes it nutritious too.
No wonder I like you…
I always hated breakfast for as long as I can remember … Let me sleep a little longer … just a few minutes … paleese?
Lovely pics though, Jo:) Always, cat.
Hey Cat- trouble is , kids NEVER let you sleep in – even when they are grown…
Nice photos Jo!
Thanks Britta,
.

Whoa Jo, this is my first visit to your blog. You have lots going on here. Can’t take it all in in one visit so I guess I will have to come back! (-: Your About is very interesting. Again, lots of ground to cover since it appears you have covered a lot of ground in your lifetime, LOL. Thanks for stopping by my place today and leaving a comment. I really appreciate it. All the best, Margie
Hi Margie – so glad to see you here and hope to see you back again. Yes life has never been boring – so I guess that is reflected in the blog…
Hi Jo, that third pic looks like a cornucopia of breakfast delight

Hi Brandon – it was. You could ask them to cook up whatever you felt like – so spoiled – so loving it.
The Easter Basket Breakfast Buffet…sugar rush and crash. : )
Oh I wish they had crashed – but they always kept going all day…grrrrrrrrrrrr
The Tahiti breakfast buffet looks fabulous, but who could turn down sugar and chocolate? Great entry!
Thanks Theresa – Tahitian breakfast – to die for !!!
haha, your first two made me smile. your third one made me drool – metaphorically speaking, might i hastily add. what a wonderful treat! happy belated birthday!
thanks for sharing.
Wow – smiling and drooling – love that !!!!!!
The first two photos were wonderful. The best way to start their Easter day is of course Easter chocolate eggs! I remember when I was a kid I’d love to have a taste of a chocolate first
The third photo has great selection of food! Hope you had a very sumptuous birthday breakfast
Thanks Gracie – I had a wonderful breakfast on the day.
Hey it’s ok once and awhile
EXACTLY – it was always a blast…
Aren’t birthdays and holidays great fun!
There are that – especially when breakfast is only the good stuff.
I’m not very familiar with breakfast food. By the time I stagger out of the Captain’s Quarters, the crew is usually serving lunch. I have heard them speak of breakfast though, so I know it exists.
Now Cap’n anyone knows that a pirate needs something substantial in his system to be able to best deal with other pirates aboard as they can be a handful at time…
Oh I agree, the crew is quite a handful, but that’s why I keep rum in there. What’s that got to do with breakfast?
Nah ah – rum is actually not a substantial FOOD on which to run a body – though I can concede that it may be considered fuel of a type- and at your age Cap’n you need a bit of roughage…hehe
Ah, this brought back memories – we used to have chocolate for breakfast on Christmas morning once the kids opened their selection boxes, well we had to help them eat it didn’t we?! Nice pics and your holiday breakfast looked fab.
Oh yessiree we did the Christmas chocolate as well – I would sneak in and fill a stocking at the end of their beds with every chocolate and sugary thing I had been able to find in the preceding weeks. I mean what is Christmas without a sugar high to celebrate on…
You always rise to the challenge don’t you, young lady?
I try – probably do better were I more…hmmmmmm…manly…hehe
Chocolate for breakfast! You’re my kind of gal!
What better way to start the day ???
