Weekly Photo Challenge: Flowers

I decided to give the weekly photo challenge a try – see if it helped sharpen some of my photo skills a little.

This weeks challenge is – you got it – flowers.

I loved this explosion of colour – so figured it was a great first step.

They are beautiful – they are part of a garden along where I walk the dog. It is such a riot of colours, I often stop to watch them just be alive.

I love the photo! I’ve thought about joining this challenge. I’m curious how you like it and if you recommend it. I don’t want to join it until I move and settle into my new place. I’m looking forward to your photos!

woo wee! It reminds me of Hawaii! But since I’ve never been, I’ll have to say it’s a bouquet of flowers on a cruise ship destined for Hawaii. Are you writing this blog post from the comfort of a lounge chair, colorfull cocktail near-by? LoL

Thanks. Just a little Lumix digital – when I think of all the camera gear I had when film was still being used. Now it fits in my pocket – but I do like the way I can have it at hand easily – I just need to learn more about it. Technology is confusing man.

They’re gorgeous – are they some sort of lilly? Reminds me of tiger lillies. Nice pic.

I love them. There are also a bunch of yellow ones on the walkway where I walk the dog – where these are. I used those on my desktop they were so amazing.
